The Canon RF 100mm F2.8L Macro IS USM is a telephoto 'macro' prime lens for the R-series mirrorless camera system. This lens has a minimum focusing distance of 26cm and a maximum magnification of 1.4x to enable the subject to be even larger in the frame at close distances. The SA control ring enables users to change bokeh between bubble bokeh and softer rounded bokeh.
Upto 5 stops of image stabilisation with upto 8 stops if used in combination with camera stabilisation with the likes of the Canon EOS R5.
Dual Nano USM focus motors help drive optical elements with speed and precision to provide fast, near silent AF whilst videographers benefit from extremely well controlled focus breathing.
The 100mm F2.8L Macro has 17 elements in 13 groups which has Canon's Super Spectra coating to improve image quality.
