New Irix 30mm F1.4 Lens

Irix has announced its new 30mm F1.4 lens. This product is based on the 30mm cine lens but this model is directed more to stills.


Main features of the Irix 30mm F1.4:

● 140-degree rotation angle of the focus ring
● Reinforced internal structure
● 86mm filter mounting front thread
● Mounts: Nikon F, Canon EF, Pentax K



The lens has a total of 13 elements in 11 groups, with three ultra-low dispersion glass elements. Using an 11 blade design aperture with rounded edges to give pleasent background blur, working in a range of F1.4 to F16.  This lens is intended for use on 35mm full frame sensors.

The housing of this lens is that of the Dragonfly standard known from previous Irix models, aspects include, reinforced internal structure, scratch resistant lens finish, anti-slipi focus ring, dust and water sealings.

Mounts
The Irix 300mm F1.4 will be available in Nikon F, Canon EF and Pentax K mounts.

Prive and availability 
The lens will be available for sale in October 2021, with no pricing being released at this current time.
