Irix has announced the 21mm F1.4 full-frame lens for Canon EF, Nikon F and Pentax K mount cameras. This lens features a electronic aperture control allowing the aperture to be controlled from the camera, but is still a manual focus lens. It also features a focus lock function.
The lens has 15 elements in 11 groups which include 4 ultra-low dispersion glass elements, 4 high reflectance elements and 2 aspherical elements.

The lens housing is a continuation of the Dragonfly manufacturing standard known from earlier Irix models. Its most important aspects are:
