7artisans has announced its latest lens, the full-frameĀ M28mm F5.6 prime lens for Leica M-mount cameras. The 7artisan store says this lens is 'Born for street photography' for capturing the decisive moment with hyperfocal focusing.
Optically this lens has 6 elements in 4 groups with 1 high refractive glass and 2 ED elements.
The lens is rangefinder coupled and features a infinity lock for locking focus at infinity, a 35.5mm filter thread, an aperture ring, depth of field scale and a focus ring.
The M28mm F5.6 lens is of a metal construction, weighs 130 grams, measures 44mm in length and 38mm in diameter and has a minimum focusing distance of 1m.
This lens is due on sale tomorrow, May 6th and is listed at $299 on their website.
