Description
The EOS R is Canons first full frame mirrorless camera brought to Market in 2018. Featuring a 30MP sensor and Dual-Pixel AF with 5655 selectable focus points. Overall very good image quality, a nice sized body which also comes weather sealed.
This mirrorless body has a 3.69M-dot OLED electronic viewfinder and a 2.1M-dot, 3.2" articulating rear screen aswell as a top down display panel to display all your settings. There are a couple of downsides with the ergonomics of the camera, no scroll wheel and some slightly off button positionings, and that touch bar that doesn't get many great reviews. The R is also lacking dual card support and IBIS.
On the video side of things the EOS R can capture 4K video at 30 fps, but there are a couple of downsides to this. The first one being a 1.7 crop on the 4K video and also if you want 60 fps, you will unfortunately have to step down to Full HD.
