Description
This new Sony FE 70-200mm F2.8 GM OSS II is an update to one of Sony's most popular telephoto zooms. This lens excels at sports, wildlife, bird photography, portraits, weddings, landscapes. Four XD (Extreme Dynamic) Linear Motors provide smooth, fast continuous autofocus with minimal focus breathing for video recording with 30% faster autofocus tracking than the previous model.
Constructed of 17 elements in 14 groups with one XA (extreme aspherical) element, two ED (Extra Low dispersion), two Super ED and one newly developed ED aspherical element.
A lightweight design weighing 1045g, dust and moisture resistant with the ability to use the 1.4x teleconverter and the 2.0x teleconverter.
A short minimum focus distance at the wide end at just 40cm, with improved 0.3x magnification ratio. This lens enables you to shoot tele-macro style close-up images and video for gathering detail shots of wedding bands, flowers and other subjects.
