Description
The Sigma 28-70mm F2.8 DG DN Contemporary is a standard zoom lens for full-frame E-mount and L-mount cameras. Based on the 24-70 Art lens but with a focal length starting at 28mm this enables this lens to be smaller and lighter while maintaining optical performance.
This lens has an optical design of 16 elements in 12 groups that include three aspherical, two FLD, and two SLD elements, along with the use of Super Multi-Layer Coating and Nano Porous Coating to control flare and ghosting.
This lens is also weather sealed and features a water and oil repellant coating on the front side of the lens.
