Description
The Nikon Nikkor Z 400mm F2.8 TC VR S is a full frame telephoto prime lens for Nikon Z mount mirrorless cameras. This lens is aimed at sports, wildlife and nature photographers. A 400mm F2.8 lens with built-in 1.4x teleconverter, extends your reach to 560mm at the flick of a switch but at the expense of a change in maximum aperture to F4.
This is the first lens to adopt the new silky swift VCM (Voice coil motor) focusing system with optical ABS encoder, for fast autofocus and spot-on subject acquisition and tracking. Other features include an integrated filter slot for drop in filters. 5.5 stops of VR (vibration reduction), sealing around all moving parts to keep dust and moisture at bay, and Nikon’s fluorine coating protects the front element.
