Description
The Nikon Nikkor Z 100-400mm F4.5-5.6 VR S is a telephoto zoom that is in the premium S-Line range of Nikon lenses for Z series mirrorless cameras. With its long focal range of 100-400mm its suited more towards sports wildlife, aircraft and event photography.
Constructed from 25 elements in 20 groups, consisting of 6 ED elements, 2 super-ED elements as well as elements with Nano Crystal and ARNEO coats, and a fluorine-coated front lens element. This offers excellent sharpness with minimum chromatic aberration and color fringing even at the maximum aperture.
Other features include 5.5 stops of vibration reduction, a minimum focusing distance of 0.75m (at the wide-angle end), and an S-Line quality construction. It has also been fully weather sealed to keep out dust and moisture.
