Today Sony announced the release of the A7 IV full-frame mirrorless camera, with a newly developed 33MP full-frame back-illuminated sensor that provides excellent image quality and performance. This model features the BIONZ XR processor and advanced autofocus which is based on the flagship A1 camera delivering high-spreed AF with uninterupted continuous 10fps.
This model has an improved grip, 5-axis optical in-body image stabilisation for a 5.5 step shutter speed advantage, and a 3.68M dot OLED Quad-VGA viewfinder which is a increase of 1.6x the resolution of the Alpha A III.
The Alpha 7 IV can shoot 4K 30p with 7K oversampling in full-frame mode, with the ability to shoot 4K 60p 10-bit 4:2:2 video continuously for over an hour. The camera also has new features to support live streaming.
